Verizon iPhone confirmed for quarter-1 2011

The Verizon iphone is HERE !

Recently apple started the manufacturing of iphones with the qualcomm CDMA chip, this is a data and talk chip therefore it is not possible to put the Chip in the ipad, and putting them in a Mac would be plain stupid, therefore apple's ordering of the CDMA chips will obviously go in the iphone, because of this, apple is neither cornfirming or denying if they will move to multiple carriers HOWEVER, if apple doesnt move to verizon then unlocked iphones with the CDMA chip will be easily capable of moving to Verizon via an unlock hack such as yellowsn0w, or other simaller hacks, this basically confirms the apple iphone will be on Verizon soon whether apple wants it to or not.

Chumby Classic Review and Battery Hack

I have owned the Chumby for a few months, and all I can say is WOW ! Its is by far the best alarm clock, pandora radio playing, gaming, and social networking Gadget i have ever reviewed. When you first get the Chumby it comes in a Earth-Friendly canvas bag,inside it has 3 Chumby charms, a plug, a booklet for the chumby, and in its own special little pocket, in all its soft, invovative awsomeness, is the Chumby Classic. On the Chumby's exterior is imported italian leather, in white, black, or or its natural "latte" color, it also has a sharp 320X240 3.5 inch LCD touchscreen, running 350 MHz ARM9-based Freescale i.MX21 controller, which basically means it is pretty damn fast, and to get more technical, the software is linux based, now the chumby is pretty much a widget device, the widgets are of course flash based, and all are available for free off of chumby.com. There is a stunning 1500 widgets availible with more added every day by chumby users, flash developers and the chumby company. Now the newer chumby one is 119 dollars, and it is made of plastic, the Chumby Classic is 150 dollars right now but is sometimes 200 dollars. Overall the chumby is a great device with no downsides, other than the lack of a battery. BUT even on the chumby classic there is a super easy little hack to get a battery in it, and heres how... Firstly there is a velcro strap on the bottom of the chumby, just put a Rechargable 9V in the battery not supported 9V plug, and now you have a rechargable chumby. Like i said the Chumby is great

Flip Ultra HD 8GB

The flip line of video cameras was a revultionary breakthrough in camera technoligy. For it was the first time that a camera was designed primarily for uploading what it shoots to the internet, the flip ultra is no different, With is 1280X768 resultion and 2 hour of video shooting the flip Ultra is a truely great camera. Its reacharble battery lasts quite a while, its Vibrant Anti glare display and its 16:9 aspect ratio also make it even more of a joy to own however like every review it has its downside, first of all it has no male-female USB plug in case you cant plug its stubby usb flipper gizmo... Or whatever you would call it secondly it can't take photos which basicly prevents it from being perfect, but over all its a good little camcorder

Apple iPad 64GB WiFi review

The apple iPad is a truely amazing tablet device and alought it has its flaws it is an overall great tablet first the good news, the iPad crisp 1024X768 screen is stunning when viewing HD youtube videos, using iWork or Viewing photos, secondly its crazy fast, and finnally its Jailbreak-Able. Now the down sides, first of all it has no Adobe Flash, Secondly it has no flash , and third it has no Flash, but serisously another downside is no camera but that will hopefully be fix in the 2nd gen ipads whenever they come out, its final downside is that it does'nt run OSX which is not really that bad as there arw more iphone apps than Mac apps, but overall the iPad is a great device and alough you cant call it a computer its still a device most definatly worth

the worst keyboard to ever inhabit the planet

the ii-flexible keyboard simply is the worst keyboard to ever be manufacured, for starters the keys feel wierd to type on (believe me i'm using it right now) as you finger curves around and the slide off the edge of the poorly built rubber keys the key board also does a poor job of being portable, because it fold up in such a fashon thatit is harder to bring with you than your actual notebook escpecally if your riding on a plane or tran or even a small car or minivan, alog with that there are even 2 blank key that do abslaulutly nothing, and even worse is that after a while you fingers will begin to hurt whic is a pain to deal with. overall this product sucks eggs and you should never buy it, ( this is why you shouldn't buy cheap keyboards at bed bath and beyond)

the best portable speakers i have ever found

the hmdx portable audio speakers are most high quality portable speakers i have ever used (and believe me i have alot ) and they are capable of being very loud if you turn up the volume to max unlike the offical built-in iphone speakers which are quiet and hard to hear. they use 2 AA bateries to amplify the sound and has no actual ipod jack, only a headphone jck which is nice if you have a cheap mp3 player (or worse a Zune ;) and the speakers have no volume control so if you have an mp3 player with no actual volume control you screwed, and it also has no auto-off which most portable speakers do so if you leave it on while your not using it you also screwed,but for 10 $ at bed bath and beyond they are a great buy and a phenominal deal especialy in this economy. (oh did i forget to mention that they come in many different colors)

why everyone should own an anphibious vehicle

ok it is not really a vehicle, it is a remote controlled anphibious tank that shoots water at your friends when they dont expect it. so far I like it, i have gotten five people wet. the only real few downsides there are is that it has a long four hour charge time (they say you can only get 20 min. out of it before it begins to die ) but i have gotten 1-3 hours of use time per charge. and when the wheel seen in the picture change in water to got to boat mode, the slots that rest the wheels fill up with water somtimes even causeing the boat to sink. its a decent pool toy, and for only 50 bucks what you get is what you get.

the spykee

the spykee wifi mobile robot is a uber cool robot by erector that you can control anywhere in the world from your pc or iphone. i would highly recomomend this as i use it alot to watch over the house when im away or to just plain annoy the dogs. if you would like to drive my spykee around for a little while you must schdule a time by emailing me at spookyjack123@aol.com , then once it is scheduled go to spykeeworld.com , click on your country and then then click on a bar that appears that says installation once that is clicked go and click on the download spykee interface button and download for mac or pc. then install the software. then run the program and click on a bubble that will apear next to the words remote robot and enter the robot name give in the email, then click ok, after that type in the user name and password given in the email and hit ok. now you are connected !

the nike plus ipod sensor

we all know that somtimes we let our wieght go just a little, or if your like me and need to lose ALOT of kilograms this may be the next big thing. the nike plus ipod sensor wirelessly connects to your ipod nano, iphone, or ipod touch 2nd generation and works like a personal trainer inside a box with a fruit logo on frount. using the ipod+nike apps that comes preloaded into the ipod touch allows you to set goals, monitor calories burned, set a workout time etc.

i love mine soooooo much and use it all the time !

the nintendo dsi

the dsi is a rather fun (yet unconventional) way to use a ds. the menu layout which is alot like a wii is a great alternitive to the cheap junky menu style of the ds and ds lite. however somthinmg that the dsi doesnt have is a gameboy advance slot (rest assured that tinkerers and hackers will for sure find away around this in the near future). the 2 (yes 2 ! ) cameras on this are fun to brag about but other than taking goofy photos of you and your friends they are pretty much useless. nintendo says the screen is much wider than the ds lite, that is barely true. it seems that the screen is wider when you look at it but the dsi's screen is only 7 mm wider from a test i created for this post. now the wifi capibilites in the dsi are basicly the same as the ds lite, along with the mic. overall this is a fun gadget to buy if you have the money but if money is tight in your household it is best to wait to see if the gadgets ever really takes of or drops in price.

product review of the ipod touch 2g

the ipod touch (a.k.a) itouch is this generations must have mp3 player. it is very smart, very useful, and very very fun. so far i have experienced literally no problems, but i have only had mine for 2 days. so far i have brought it with me everywere i go. now one of the few bad things about the itouch is that the back side is very shiny and is therefore a fingerprint magnet, but this can be solved by simply purchasing a case for the ipod. another is that when playing powerheavy games that are large and complex, the battery life literally is drained from the ipod. but overall i think this is a great product that is fun and helpful at the same time.
